Repeat Prescriptions

Regular medication will be put on repeat prescription. Once this is arranged you can re-order your medications by either

1. Ordering your medication online at www.myvisiononline.co.uk If you have not yet registered for this service, please contact reception for a registration form

2. Putting your repeat prescription with the items required clearly marked though the letterbox at the surgery

3. Posting your repeat slip to the surgery

Please note that we are unable to take your repeat prescription over the phone

Please do not order your prescriptions too early as they will not be issued until they are due. If you need your medications early e.g. if you are going on holiday, please contact the receptionsists to arrange this.

Sometimes you will be asked to see the Doctor or Nurse for a review before your repeat medication is issued. This is to make sure that the medication is still the best option for you.

Your prescription will be ready for collection within 48 working hours.

Rigside is a dispensing surgery, please allow 72 working hours from ordering to collect your medication here.

Do not stop taking your medication without consulting your doctor. If you are worried about what you are taking, please contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
